âDuring my time at UNMC, Iâve learned that collaboration and teamwork are key ingredients to success. So much can be accomplished when different people with unique perspectives and skillsets join forces. Institutional efforts during the height of the pandemic truly exemplified this collaborative spirit. The selfless care, creative problem solving and inspiring innovations experienced throughout these trying times will forever stand out in my memory as an embodiment of the values and collaborative spirit that makes UNMC such a special place.â #HumansOfUNMC

UNMCâs Department of Anesthesiology held its first-ever Family Day at the Davis Global Center, giving families a hands-on look into the world of anesthesiology. Anesthesiology families had a chance to try out interactive, kid-friendly stations from managing airways to performing CPR! âOur families could see what we do to help patients and why we sometimes have to miss important events or canât make it home,â Dr. Rebecca Aron said. âAnother potential benefit is encouraging our kids to explore and appreciate STEM and maybe get them interested in health care or medicine.â #Simulation #Anesthesiology #Simulation #Anesthesiology https://hubs.li/Q02SZJs60
