The worst sentence in sales

The worst sentence in sales

“Yeah, we’ll think it over and get back to you!”

Ever hear those words? If you’re like me, you’ve heard them more times than you can remember.

Blech. I hate those words. I hate that sentence. It's the worst.

When I first got started building my coaching practice (and was using the old/traditional/trying-not-to-be-pushy sales techniques), I had pulled some strings, hustled, and made a ton of connections.

As I was forecasting at the beginning of the fourth month, I realized I had a lot of really good opportunities coming down the pike: I had a total of six new consulting projects that were all-but-in-the-bag for a total of $20,000 in revenue for the month. Including traveling to work with companies in both South Carolina and Texas. I was already a big shot.

Yeeaaah.. Whenever I think I’m a big shot, life typically tends to put me in my place.

Many of the “clients” I thought I had suddenly became strangely unavailable when I tried to check in and ‘nail down details’. They didn’t answer my calls, emails, or texts.. “We’re just super busy right now,” they’d say. And one-by-one, they each got back to me with that ominous “we’re not ready to move forward”.

At the end of the month, my billings were a fraction of the forecast.

Blech again.

You relate to this? You may want take a look at the Sales Mastermind I’ve put together. It’s a step-by-step training that will teach you to master the art of quickly finding and closing bigger, higher paying clients and projects. This is a really dang good way to initiate explosive growth in your business.

Not only will you be participating in group coaching but you'll also be zeroing in on how to have conversations with prospects using a non-traditional, super effective sales system that will show you step-by-step how to convert a "suspect" into a "prospect" and then into a brand new client.

This isn’t a seminar where a guy talks for nine hours and then you go home and struggle to apply anything you learned - Not only will the Sales Mastermind give you the information, but it will give you real application experience through role-playing and practicing.

Some of the things we'll be covering and applying:

  • How to stop chasing prospects and close clients who want to work with you
  • How to get paid what you're worth
  • Learn a non-traditional selling system that will cause prospects and clients to see you as a trusted advisor instead of a sleazy salesperson
  • Learn how to deflate your limiting beliefs around selling
  • Take your company to the next level through effective selling and building relationships with clients and prospects

Because at the end of the day, people buy from people the know, like, and trust right?

The Mastermind kicks off Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at 3:00-5:00pm in Vancouver, and will be each Tuesday for 8 weeks. The "investment" (<< sales lingo) is $749/seat. You don't like it? I'll give you your money back.

Oh. And there's going to be coffee.
