Women Consultants, Are You Creating An Experience?

Women Consultants, Are You Creating An Experience?

Welcome to the latest edition of the Seven Figure Consultant LinkedIn Newsletter. Don't forget that you can get daily updates from Jessica in your LinkedIn news feed by accessing her LinkedIn profile and hitting Follow. She will be sharing insights and discussions through the week that she would love to hear your views on.

One of the things I'm really passionate about is not putting women in a situation where they have to follow a step-by-step template for growing their business. I always think how they grow their business depends so much on their brand, their audience, the way that they are communicating with their clients, and the kinds of things they personally want to offer.

What worked for someone else isn’t necessarily going to work for you. So often when I meet a woman who isn’t loving her business, it’s because instead of leaning into who she is as a person, she’s trying to fit in with what they think a consultant should be like. This often doesn’t connect with the client either. They get the work, but they’re not creating a truly memorable experience.

It takes a lot of courage to really connect with who you are as a person - and this includes what you want your life to be like. There is so much shame attached to saying, ‘I would like more’. But wanting more is not solely about you. It’s not about the material things. It’s about creating impact. When you want more, you can create opportunities for other people. You can create a life-changing experience for your clients and your team.

There are so many more opportunities out there than we realise at the start. There are collaborations, there are connections to be made all the time. Training ourselves to see those opportunities and trusting that they will show up creates this momentum for change and growth.

You don’t have to follow ‘the rules’. You can create your business your way. You can create an experience like no-one else for you, your clients, and people around you.

If you’d like to hear more about this, my guest on the Seven Figure Consultant Podcast this week is Shayla Boyd-Gill. She is a Family Freedom and Affluence Mentor and creator of the Luxe Your BusinessTM Sales System and a sales strategist who shows women entrepreneurs how to have it all – family, freedom, and affluence – while doing what they love. She juggles being an entrepreneur with being a wife and mum of six homeschooled children.

Free Report - The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Consulting Business

I've created a free PDF report called The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Business. It’s my most popular free resource and in it I outline the 6 areas of unscaled businesses that need to change in order to move past being ‘booked up and burned out’ and shifting into that higher gear that gets you cruising again.

It’s the framework that helps consultant women like you find their feet and get back to leading the business, rather than being buried in client work and back-end business operations.

Sign up here for your PDF report, and I'll show you the six elements your consultancy needs to make the shift from a nice little 6-figure lifestyle business to a serious 7-figure enterprise.

Love this Jessica, and it's such a freeing thing when you realise that being you is a good thing! I think when we start out in business it's easy to think we need to be like everybody else. But actually the complete opposite is true, being ourselves is the best way to attract the right clients who connect with us just because we are who we are.
