Are you wondering what to do right now?

You might be doubting your abilities. You might be wondering where to find your next client. You could be making your first hire, or trying to figure out how to get a holiday when you run your own consulting business.

I want you to ask yourself, ‘what are the chances that I’m the only person who this is happening to right now?!’

No matter what it is that you are struggling with, you are not going to be the only person this has happened to. Other people are on this path too.

As a high achieving woman, you know you possess the ability to find other solutions. Start by doing research online. There’s a wealth of information out there. Ask fellow consultants. No-one is going to be surprised or think less of you. They’ll probably say, ‘oh I’ve been there’, or ‘I feel like that too’. They might secretly think that you’re brave and wish that they were good at asking for help too!

This is all part of abundance. Trust that there are people who can help you, either by reaching out to them or by you benefiting from the roads they have already travelled. Trust that a better solution will present itself. You don’t have to carry the weight of this alone.

You will get through this and by the time you do, you might have outgrown what you were trying to do in the first place and be ready for a much bigger version. This is the joy of seeking help elsewhere, you open yourself up to new solutions and possibilities.

When we’re stuck in scarcity everything has to happen exactly the way we want it to and we have to control every little detail. But abundance just takes all those things we’re holding onto so tightly and explodes them into oblivion - very often to clear the way for something bigger.
