We're hiring two refugee programme support officers and a refugee resettlement team leader to work across the Council's refugee resettlement programmes, which includes the United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme (UKRS), Afghan Relocation and Assistance programme (ARAP), the Afghan Citizen Resettlement Scheme (ACRS), the wraparound service for Afghans who are currently accommodated in a bridging hotel in Liverpool and the Homes for Ukraine programme.Â

This new role is fixed term for 2 years in response to the Councils increased responsibilities for refugee resettlement. You will be part of the Our Liverpool team, based in the Neighbourhoods Directorate. You will report to the Refugee and Migration Programme Manager and line manage 5 Officer's working on the resettlement programmes.
This post is fixed term for 12 months to provide administration and finance support to the Our Liverpool team to deliver the Council's Homes for Ukraine scheme, a refugee sponsorship scheme set up by the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities (DLUHC) which provides a route for Ukrainian refugees to come to the UK and live with a sponsor who is willing to provide them with a home.Â
You will be part of the Our Liverpool team, based in the Neighbourhoods Directorate. You will report to the Refugee Resettlement Team Leader and be part of a small and friendly team responsible for delivering the refugee resettlement programmes for the Council.
