If you are looking to visit Italy and her beauties, you should take some time, as there are so many that you can’t even imagine! Italy is a beautiful country with an immense archeological and historical heritage. First of all, you can’t miss Rome, the Eternal City, a real museum on open air, where you can find archaeological wonders and world-famous sights seemingly on every corner, such the Trevi Fountain, the breath-taking Roman Forum, Navona Square, The Pantheon and much more.. You can access historical sights such as the Colosseum by moonlight tour or the Vatican with private entrance tour where you can admire Michelangelo’s most celebrated ceiling fresco stepping inside the quiet confines of the Sistine Chapel and seeing his Renaissance masterpiece in all its glory.

Don’t forget to step by the The Church of St. Louis of the French where you can find the cycle of paintings of the Baroque master Caravaggio in 1599-1600 about the life of St. Matthew. This include the three world-renowned canvases of The Calling of St Matthew, The Inspiration of Saint Matthew, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew. At night then all monuments start living in a magical atmosphere and you can walk by the ancient streets, being blessed from such great palaces, churches, obelisks and fountains.

Do you need help in finding the best Hotel in Rome? What about Hassler Hotel, just upon Spanish Steps, with his amazing terrace and terrific view? The roof top Michelin Star Restaurant is one of the best known. De Russie Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is a must for a luxury stay, with his amazing garden in the heart of the city. When you are in Piazza di Spagna don’t miss my favorite Tea Room: Babington! It is a traditional English tea shop at the foot of the Spanish Steps, where you can have the best scones in Rome and the best Eggs Benedict 🙂 If then you desperately need Spaghetti Carbonara (and you should need it!) you can go to Maccheroni Restaurant, in Piazza delle Coppelle or in â€œTrattoria da Tonino” in Via del Governo Vecchio 18, a typical Roman small and traditional restaurant. Still hungry? Go to the Ghetto at Gigetto Restaurant in Portico d’Ottavia and find out how delicious are the Roman Jewish Artichokes!
