Recovering from the broken play
A lot of you may know I have leg issues. This has resulted in multiple surgeries and being an expert at cast and crutches and scooters and all the accessories. I know the ins and ut and can face these bumps at any times. The hardest part about the bumps is the recovery. The recovery takes a while, and for me usually a lot longer as I have to relearn how to walk each time, as each surgery is changing my structure to eliminate or reduce future injuries, not just repairing but changing how I âdo businessâ These recoveries take a while and it is more difficult to get around and there are mental aspects that need to be addressed.
During my most recent recovery, now, I am experiencing some roadblocks prolonging the recovery. May have to go back and have some of it redone, taking further steps back. This is tough. However, what does this have to do with winning in business?
Well winning in business is about dealing with everything that comes with you, whether it be professional, personal, spiritual, it all blends tog ether when you are in business, and how you incorporate and separate them helps.

In my physical recoveries, I use business as my ability not to have to think, not to have to rethink how I do things as I deal with struggles in my personal physical life that will leave me in a wheelchair for the rest of my life (itâs already happening so thatâs one mental aspect I have to deal with), how does that affect my business? Obviously, adaptation is needed, but I am able to use work and spirituality to focus harder and be able to make changes that will be right for me in all areas.
However, in the business world when we hit a roadblock or a detour, how do we recover? Does it affect our recovery? How doe we bounce back? Part f this is how you are personally and spiritually, but also how have you built your culture? Even in a one-person operation, culture is important, because as you grow you need that culture to sustain that growth. When obstacles are hit, then you see how the culture and more importantly mindset will work for you.
What you have built and set up, will help with the recovery. Also, knowing every recovery is going to come with setbacks, that culture will help you further deal with those as well. So have a plan for unexpected and expected obstacles, detours, roadblocks, and build your culture to deal with them.
