Came across this blogpost from Emily, where she went to a restaurant and ordered popcorn and cocktails and eventually she reused the concept, at home because it was fun and simple with parmesan-thyme-black pepper popcorn and Manhattans.

This idea is great with the upcoming Valentine's day. I don't know about all of you, but we love movies, drinks and popcorn. So probably for a nice quiet lovers evening, having a flavoured popcorn with a nice cocktail and a comedy, would be it for me! Maybe not for everyone though. Some will prefer to have a bigger or more sparkling event for Valentine's day and another winter night they will actually try this Popcorn & Cocktail concept.

Variant for the popcorn :

• Natural
• Salt & spices
• Flavored sugar
• Caramel with salted butter
• Chocolate

Variant for the cocktail :

• Beer
• To accompany the sweet flavoured popcorn a Vodka & Ice cider or one of our favorite Winter Jack (Jack Daniel's) on ice
• To accompany the salted one's, there's always the traditional Bloody Ceasar, or a Gin Collins
• And why not mix and match with a sweet drink like a Cosmopolitain with a salted popcorn
