Missionary’s Downfall

Welcome back, or if it’s your first time here, take a seat, and I’ll fix you a drink.

August is Tiki month, because, well,  I said so.

For August, I’m collaborating with my friend Shane Diven

While I celebrate and share Tiki cocktails during the month of August, I want to acknowledge that Tiki glasses and the broader Tiki culture can be seen as a form of cultural appropriation. I want to clarify that I do not condone or intend to offend anyone or misappropriate any culture. My focus here at Sip & Stir is purely on creating and sharing delicious drinks, and using the Tiki glasses traditionally associated with these cocktails is simply a way to present them in the most expected manner.

Now, back to your scheduled program.

Today, we are going to look at a Missionary’s Downfall.
