Kratika: A wonder woman with strength of a super woman!

“Everything in life is temporary. So, if things are going well, enjoy it because it won’t last forever. And if things are going bad, don’t worry, it can’t last forever either.”

Very often, we cross paths with people who quietly inspire us through their own journeys. Their sheer commitment & willpower to overcome obstacles make us believe that with hard work, we can achieve everything that we dream of.

Our EduBridger for this week is such a person to learn from and to be inspired by. Let me introduce you to Kratika Wadhwani , who hails from Bhopal, the city of Lakes. She is a part of the #LMS team and plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of the entire process.

Born on 24th Dec at Vadodara, Gujrat, she hails from a family of 4 that comprises her sister and her parents.

As her father was a medical sales representative in the private sector, they frequently relocated to different states within the country. After residing in several cities, they eventually made their way to Rajkot, Gujarat, where she finished high school and graduated.

During her graduation, she always dreamt of getting a job in the corporate sector and supporting her family. But she kept that on hold as her father’s health challenges persisted over years. She and her sister took on the responsibility to handle the finances of the house.

Taking this ahead, she began her #career in a photo studio as the front desk receptionist. She continued working there until she got married to a very prosperous family in Bhopal.

Her dream of working with a #corporate company came to a halt as she was getting into a new role and was responsible to take care of her new family.

She was always thrilled to go on vacations and long journeys. This was a completely new phase of her life.  She recollects listening to her favourite old classic songs while travelling.

Kratika was overjoyed when she got an #opportunity to support her husband by managing their business finances while taking care of her two sons. This helped her relive her wish to work in a corporate environment. Alongside, she also started offering private tuition in 2010 because she loved teaching and wanted to stay up to date with #educational advancements, which she continued until 2018.

But as it is said nothing lasts forever, her life changed when the pandemic hit the country. Their business suffered a huge financial loss in 2020. They undoubtedly tried various options to save their business but all in vain.

They had to sell off their newly constructed dream home to sustain the loss. This was the biggest downfall in their life. Witnessing the situation, she took the mantle of responsibility on herself and started focusing on providing private tuition again.

After 17 long years of break from the corporate world, she resumed her job hunt. She began gaining access to #technological advancements with the help of her sons while providing tuition.

Kratika acknowledges her sister-in-law greatly in her life and credits her for inspiring her. While things were getting difficult, her sister-in-law came forward as a saviour and informed her about an opportunity to work as a WeCare agent at EduBridge Learning Pvt. Ltd. Though this was for a contractual period, she wholeheartedly accepted it. Her #dedication to work and her #performance during that period led her to join the LMS team as an Executive.

The new role demanded Kratika learn #technology and #elearning tools. She excitedly accepted the challenge and started accomplishing her responsibilities.

She is continuously moving forward to support her family despite financial challenges over the past few years. She is incredibly grateful to her family, especially her husband and both of her sons, for their support.

Most often, people only give credit to themselves for their #achievements & tend to miss out on the help provided by their well-wishers. Kratika has not forgotten her roots & is eternally grateful for the support given by her family members during the time she needed the most.

Kratika believes in #continuouslearning and says “Learning is a lifelong process of keeping up with change”.

Making the transition to a new stage of life can be challenging, but it can also be rewarding. This #positiveattitude of hers has helped her overcome inadequacies and gain #selfbelief belief and #confidence. We wish Kratika success in all of her upcoming endeavors. You're going to excel in every way!
