What this book discusses basically is that you've made a certain effort to reach from point A to point B. In order to reach point C, you'll have to change your mindset and the way you developed yourself in the past in order to reach new heights.

Some of the key points summarized are

  • The higher you go in an organization, the more your suggestions become interpreted as orders.
  • Delusional confidence causes you to resist change.
  • Smart people know what to do. They need to know what to stop.
