A Fresh Approach to Success

A Fresh Approach to Success

You’re probably familiar with the expression that success always has many parents, but that failure is condemned to be an orphan. But what does success mean to you? How do you evaluate the criteria that conform to your personal standards of achievement? Do you calculate success in purely financial terms? Or do you measure your goals in other terms?

It’s an interesting subject to consider because there’s so much material available online, promising to give us instant success and the keys to unlimited wealth. Based on the barrage of promises and the hints at mountains of glittering treasure, the world should be awash with increasing numbers of extremely wealthy individuals. Yet, the statistics reveal that this is not the case. Something is definitely amiss here and today’s a good day to explore the topic a little more thoroughly. So, let’s take a closer look.

Whether the thousands of online wealth-creation courses are reliable, relevant or even realistic is not the question. There’s an important aspect of the process that is often overlooked and, if we aspire to create meaningful, measurable success in our lives, we need to take a step back and be sure that we’re building our future plans on firm foundations. The deeper question to ponder is to know whether you truly believe in your ability to achieve your goals – and whether you truly believe that you deserve the rewards that will accompany your success. It might seem to be an odd question because we are so easily deceived into believing that our conscious minds are in control of our lives. Yet, we now know that it’s the vast and largely concealed world of the unconscious that’s driving over 95% of our thoughts, feelings, behaviours and perception.

In simple terms, if you harbour doubts about your worthiness, there is a high probability that you will sabotage your efforts, quit when you hit the inevitable obstacles, undermine your commitment and find excuses to abandon your dreams. I know. It’s scary. Particularly because these powerful influences are driving us from a hidden source. But a daily injection of high-powered enthusiasm, an hourly re-statement of your goals, a regular repetition of super-positive affirmations can sow the seeds for a more supportive framework in your subconscious. Accepting your true worthiness can make a fabulous contribution to the fulfilment of your goals and aspirations. Let this principle be the cornerstone of your plans for success and be ready to surprise yourself with how far you can really go.
