"Forget Me Not" Flower Supports Those Impacted by Pregnancy Loss - Especially in October
The "Forget Me Not" flower is an important symbol for those impacted by pregnancy and reproductive losses like miscarriage and stillbirth.
With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in miscarriage , these and other types of pregnancy and reproductive losses impact so many people. Everyone knows someone who is impacted! Yet the grief and emotions of pregnancy loss are typically underestimated  and marginalized  in our culture.
Emotional reactions after pregnancy loss are as unique as fingerprints. However, those who grieve can feel this pain for years - even decades, according to our study . In addition to this pain, there is the worry that others have completely forgotten about the loss, forgot that the pregnancy even happened, or simply don't think that this kind of grief is as important as "traditional" grief after loss.
This is where the "Forget Me Not" flower helps. The âForget Me Notâ flower is a symbol of support. It shows those impacted that we are remembering them, and remembering their lost children with them.
You can help by wearing "Forget Me Not" jewelry or send a sympathy card with a "Forget Me Not" flower. As these are often difficult to find, we've created the âForget Me Notâ Signature Collection of jewelry and sympathy cards . Every item in this collection includes a "Forget Me Not" flower in its design, and all proceeds go directly to helping those impacted.
