Employee Engagement

Employee Engagement

As working professionals, we all know how important it is to have an engaging and fulfilling work environment. After all, we spend a significant amount of our time at work! But did you know that employee engagement is a key factor in a company's success?

Employee engagement is a measure of how committed, enthusiastic, and involved employees are in their work and with their organization. Research has shown that businesses with engaged employees outperform their competitors. Engaged employees are more productive, innovative, and likely to stick with a company long-term. On the flip side, disengaged employees can negatively impact productivity, attendance, and employee retention. In fact, a Gallup study found that companies with highly engaged employees outperform their competitors by 147% in earnings per share! Clearly, employee engagement is not a buzzword - it's an essential factor in building a thriving business.

So, how can companies improve employee engagement? It's simple, really - by listening to their employees' feedback. Employees are the backbone of any organization, and their opinions and ideas can provide valuable insights for leadership. Companies that actively seek feedback and act based on it can create a culture that values and encourages employees' voices.

As professionals, it's up to us to reflect on how employee engagement impacts our organization's success. Are we actively seeking feedback from our employees, or are we just assuming we know what's best for them? Are we fostering open communication or are we shutting down anything that doesn't fit into our preconceived notions?

By prioritizing employee engagement and truly valuing our employees' voices, we can create workplaces that are fulfilling, enjoyable, and drive business success. CooperSurgical is an organization that actively seek feedback from their employees and create a culture that encourages engagement and drives our organization forward.

Let's join forces to cultivate a workplace culture that places a premium on employee engagement, so that we can create an environment that is not only enjoyable and fulfilling for our team members, but also promotes innovation, productivity, and exceptional service for our customers. #Cooper #CooperSurgical #OrganizationalCulture #employeeEngagement #Leadership

Motivation, trust, commitment, and loyalty are all factors of employee engagement that companies must nurture, Roula. It makes sense why highly engaged employees outperform their competitors because they're more dedicated to their work and care about the company. I believe companies should start investing in their engagement strategies to find success.

Love it! Employee engagement is one key driving factor of success. At LEAD, we help organizations build connections across departments and locations through virtual coffee/water cooler chats and buddy/mentorship programs. Additionally, teams have many opportunities to provide feedback. AI-powered people analytics allow managers to gauge internal interactions and employee needs and offer actionable insights while tracking results. Over time, teams feel a sense of care and belonging and managers can effectively communicate and build trusting relations.
