Today, employees are leaving toxic work environments. Why? I'll tell you the truth, and no, this isn't your typical CHAT GPT article. This is a Truth to Power message to the world. Are you ready?
If you speak to your team(s) in a meeting, and ask: do you feel the following:
If the answer is 'NO' for all three, you know your organization has work to do. Corporations need to establish frameworks for their Employee Engagement policy because, without proper planning, the attrition rate can skyrocket, and believe me, your profits will disappear like a puff of smoke. As Maya Angelou said, 'I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'"
This is why you must look at yourself as a leader. What have you done lately for yourself, such as self-care, reflection on life, and treating yourself much kinder, both in everyday life and at work? The reason I ask you these questions is that how you treat yourself is how you treat your employees. Remember, your employees know when you care because you show up positively, allowing them to be their true selves, and you command the room as a leader who wants their team(s) to thrive in the new Future of Workplace landscape.
Start brainstorming now on how your organization can implement an Employee Engagement Policy to create a positive, creative, collaborative, and, most importantly, a sense of belonging in the workplace!
