People Don't Like Us To Be Powerful
One thing I have learned through direct experience as well as coaching and mentoring many established entrepreneurs and speaking in front of many corporations over the years, is that the health of the business is a reflection of the health of the leaders.
Our level of consciousness has a profound effect on our businesses.
Every thought, every action, creates ripples through this infinite field of consciousness. We are far more powerful than we realise.
CALM COURAGE IS CONTAGIOUS; SO IS FEAR.
As the leader, we must continuously do the inner work to fortify our inner core. As the leader, we are not only responsible, but also response-able. In the face of any adversity (and there are many in the life of an entrepreneur) it is our responsibility to remain cool and calm under pressure â to not freak out or play victim or complain about our perceived problems.
Spirituality, therefore, is dealing with and handling all situations from a higher perspective.
As the leader, it is our responsibility to extract as much positive value and make as many empowering meanings from any challenge that comes our way. We must constantly rewire our emotional architecture. It is our internal ecology that matters most â we must keep strong the gatekeepers of our mind and our heart, for it is our internal ecology that will directly project and directly reflect on our external kingdom.
We attract what we think and how we feel.
Your people will not stick by a leader who is constantly stressed, fearful, angry, confused, mean spirited and bitter. Your people will follow the one who incites the most hope. The one who is the most composed and confident. The one who is charged with the energy of inspiration on a daily basis. The one who believes in something bigger than themselves. The one who shows unwavering internal certainty. The one who masters their energy and trains their mind to stay calm in any situation.
To be calm in turmoil becomes a revolutionary act.
As the leader, we are always being watched.
We must lead by example. What makes a Spiritual Entrepreneur an exceptional leader is not only emotional mastery but also energy mastery. When we are calm and in control, our intelligence and problem-solving skills cannot be robbed from us by the disempowering emotions that overtake and control us.
This is a practice that needs to be cultivated. We must learn to stop disempowering emotion before it affects our neurocircuitry. When we are in a state of stress and panic, we only use 10 per cent of our mental, emotional and physical capabilities. By mastering more of ourselves, we have access to more of the other 90 per cent.
We must refuse to allow stress, limited states and toxic people to rob us of our intelligence. We must examine and evolve not only our food consumption but also our news and media consumption, any useless and random information that we digest on social media, as well as violent and depressing movies or stories.
Remember, rubbish in, rubbish out.
Clean up your external influences so that you acquire additional energy rather than have your energy stolen from you.
THE QUALITY OF OUR EMOTIONS IS THE GAME OF LIFE.
