Did you pick up a few unwanted LB's this Summer?

Did you pick up a few unwanted LB's this Summer?

Do you struggle to manage your weight? Have you tried diets? You owe it to yourself to read this before you start another diet this Fall.

Metro42 explained:The clean eating portion of our Metro42 program means eating foods -- like lean protein, good-for-you carbs and fats, fresh fruits, and vegetables -- six times a day in the right amounts. Do that, drink lots of water, and exercise regularly, and you'll turn your sluggish metabolism  into a fat-burning machine!! Dedicate yourself to the metro42 program, and you'll lose about 10% in 6 weeks on average. The benefits go beyond weight loss. You'll stay healthy and have more energy long after the 42 days! The Eat-Clean philosophy in our Metro42 program is that nutrition is far more important than exercise or genetics in shaping our bodies. Listen, you will NEVER out exercise a bad diet! Yes, you need exercise to build and maintain muscle and strengthen your cardiovascular system, but if you need to lose fat, abs are made in the kitchen first!

Does It Work?

It's a balanced diet that focuses on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, fats, and protein. It also encourages you to control portion sizes. And it doesn't ban any food groups. We only need direct you to our Metro42 web page, don't take our word for it, hear what your neighbors have to say about their personal 42 day journey! What others have to say about Metro42

What You Can and Can't Eat

The Metro42 Eat-Clean principles are:
  • Eat six small meals a day.
  • Eat breakfast every day, within an hour of getting up.
  • Eat lean protein and complex carbohydrates at every meal.
  • Have two or three servings of healthy fats every day.
  • Get fiber, vitamins, nutrients, and enzymes from fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Control your portions.
  • Drink 2 to 3 liters of water (about 13 8-ounce cups) every day.
The foods to avoid:
  • Over processed foods, especially white flour and sugar
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Sugary beverages, such as soda and juice
  • Alcohol
  • Foods with chemical additives like food dyes and sodium nitrite
  • Foods with preservatives
  • Artificial foods, such as processed cheese slices
  • Saturated fats and trans fats
  • Anti-foods -- calorie-dense foods with no nutritional value
  •  If you don't like foods in the plans, you can replace them with others from the same food group.
Exercise: Strength training and cardiovascular exercise round out the Metro42 program. To lose weight, our team recommends five or six sessions of cardio weekly, for 30 to 45 minutes each. Support: You do not go it alone. Right from the start of the program you will be introduced to your nutrition coach and your mental health coach both will work with you to make this a sustainable lifestyle. Your personal trainers and group fitness instructors will push you and encourage you to get the best exercise effort out of you. Email and personal consultations, pre and post testing, and team support are what makes Metro42 a different weight loss and lifestyle experience! The Final Word: Most diet plans are very restrictive, have lots of rules and they can be hard to follow for a long time. Every diet works and every diet fails. Eating clean is a sustainable lifestyle anyone can do! We still have room in our Fall Metro42 class BUT , we need to begin pre-testing and collecting health history from those registered soon. The program kick-off seminar is Monday, September 19th from 5pm - 7pm at our East Club in the Community room. Register your interest by clicking Metro42 below and submit the inquiry form or email Randy@getmetrofit.com. Hey, what have you got to lose....besides some unwanted weight!  I want more information on Metro42
