Coaching - It ain't gonna work... (without this one thing!)
Coaching Magic: Spoiler Alert - It's Not!
(Well, not without one essential ingredient).
Ah, coaching. That realm where you pay someone to turn your life / business into a well-oiled machine, your dreams into reality, and your frustrations into clarity.
Sounds like a dream, right?
Well, wake up, Buttercup!
Here's the hard truth:
Coaching isn't a letter from Hogwarts. Your coach won't wave a wand and POOF ðª â youâve got your dream business or job, a perfect relationship, and abs that can grate cheese.
No, no. Coaching requires a four-letter word:
WORK
Imagine this: You hire a personal trainer. They can't do the push-ups for you while you binge-watch Bridgerton whilst eating your a family sized bag of Cheetos. You might wish they could, but nope, you gotta sweat.
Similarly, a coach provides you with the right questions, accountability, and a nudge in the right direction. But guess what? You have to use them.
Picture a coach like GPS.
They can give you the best route, the scenic path, or even shortcuts. But if you decide to take a nap on your driveway, don't blame the GPS when you don't end up at the destination.
Coaching is like assembling IKEA furniture. The coach hands you the instructions, the tools, and maybe even an Allen key. But if you sit there staring at the box, hoping itâll assemble itself, you'll be sitting on the floor for quite a while.
Youâve got to roll up your sleeves, decipher those gobbledygook instructions, and put in the elbow grease.
So, if you're thinking about hiring a coach (hi there, ð), remember this: Youâre signing up for a partnership.

Your coach is:
â The GPS
â The guide
â The motivator.
But you, my friend, are the true hero of this story.
Youâve got to do the heavy lifting. You have to get up, show up, and put in the work. Because in the end, the real magic of coaching isn't in the coach. It's in you. So, get ready to sweat, hustle, and grind.
And remember, no one ever said, "I regret working hard for my dreams." Now, get out there and crush it!
