ð Celebrating success at the Energy Sector Womenâs Leadership Initiative (ESWLI) Training in Ghana!
ð Another empowering session wrapped up, and what an incredible journey it's been! Over two days, in partnership with Busara Africa , we've equipped a group of 34 talented women in the energy sector with the essential skills they need to not only excel in their current roles, but also to pave the way for their long-term careers.
ð Guided through key modules including diversity and inclusion awareness, the art of public speaking, navigating political savviness, mastering strategic planning, and the art of conflict management and negotiation, our participants delved into thought-provoking discussions, engaged in skill-building exercises, and emerged equipped with the tools necessary to chart their own path to success.
âThrough the training, I've learned the vital role of strong communication skills in our daily lives. Effective communication ensures clear understanding and successful outcomes. As I lead the VRA Ladies Association, these skills become even more crucial, helping me engage with members and customers and ultimately improve satisfaction and problem-solving,â Grace Kumi-Yeboah, Accounting Assistant, Northern Electricity Distribution Company and Branch President for the Ladies Association.
ð¤ This ESWLI iteration was truly remarkable, featuring a networking session that brought together the current cohort with past participants and inspiring women from our Womenâs Energy Champion series. The result? Vibrant question-and-answer sessions with prominent sector leaders, fostering knowledge exchange and networking at its finest.
