5 Signs It’s Time To Finally Invest In A Coach

People hire coaches because they have big goals for their career and life, but feel stuck. But how do you know if you need a coach? And how do you know if NOW is the right time?

It can be difficult to admit you need help. It is also empowering. "I wish I would have invested in myself sooner" is one of the most common phrases I hear from those new coaching.

Here are five signs it’s time to invest in a coach:

1. YOU FEEL STUCK.

You keep repeating, “I feel stuck.” You keep trying different things but not getting results. It’s frustrating. You have big goals and dreams but you’re not achieving them (yet!).

“I feel stuck” is the most common phrase I hear from prospective clients.

Coaching helps you explore and dissect your options, create a take action plan, and stay accountable to it. You leave sessions feeling less stuck and more in control.

2. YOU ARE READY TO LEVEL UP.

You are ready to ask for a $40K raise, switch to an entirely new industry, and double your rates. But the feat seems impossible.

Fear and limiting beliefs often stand between where you are and where you want to be.

A (good) coach will help you build more confidence and work to achieve those goals that feel impossible.

3. YOU KEEP ENDING UP IN THE SAME SITUATION... OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

You have tried things on your own, or perhaps even sought out a few mentors, yet you’re still not getting results.

Despite not being where you want to be, you’re ready to take your career, business, or life to the next level but are not quite sure how to get there.

Coaching will help you see inside yourself, own your fabulousness, and achieve what you never imagined possible. (So long as you show up and do the work, of course.)

4. YOU WANT TO SAVE TIME (AND MONEY).

Coaching is an investment of time and energy, but your ROI is exponential — more time, more energy, more happiness, more fulfillment, more peace of mind.

Coaching is also a financial investment. Ask yourself:

  • How much is having a job I love worth?
  • How much is having a life I love worth?
  • How much is my time worth?
  • How much is my happiness worth?
  • How much am I worth?

5. YOU ARE READY TO FINALLY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

Unlike a mentor or friend, a coach will help you slice through your limiting beliefs and truly hold you accountable.

They are the one person who will both create a space for you to dream the impossible and hold you accountable for achieving your goals.

If you are ready to finally be held accountable, it's time to hire a coach.

There are tons of other signs it’s time for you to invest in coaching, but these are five of the most common for exploring coaching

Coaching is hard work. Sometimes it hurts. You may even sweat and cry. But you will leave each session feeling less stuck.

So true. For a while, I was stuck with a belief that I cannot afford a coach who can really help me and the coach I can afford won't be able to help me much. What a relief to be able to break through that limiting belief!
