The 2021 James Bond Movie Trivia Marathon was a Hoot and a Hollar

I am pleased to announce that Paul Lynch won the 2021 James Bond Trivia Marathon, answering more questions than any other contestant, thus donning the title of 007 Trivia Champion, winning a copy of my book, The James Bond Movie Encyclopedia and, thanks to Factory Entertainment, a reproduction of the Spectre Insignia ring. Joining him on the win side in 2nd place was Joey Horist, 3rd place went to Andrew Rayson, and rounding out the top five finishers were Craig Edwards and 2020 Champion Morgan Lisney. The two-and-a-half hour tournament co-sponsored by Spy Movie Navigator website and Chicago Review Press, featured questions from a panel of 007 examiners, which included international attorney and Bond uber memorabilia collector Malcolm McNeil, Academy Award-winning special effects expert Robert Short, Hollywood publicist Charles Sherman, William “Bill” Koenig who runs the prominent spy website “The Spy Command,” UK radio personality Terry Baxter, actor George Almond, indie film director Mark Pirro , film historian Avie Hern, and yours truly. It was a spirited affair with the contestants from as far away as Croatia, and the UK repeatedly answering tough trivia questions on the nearly sixty year run of the James Bond movie series.  Kudos to my questioning team, and to the wonderful contestants who participated. Now let’s go see “No Time to Die.”
