Influencer Seeding for digital products and services? I have seen lots of people talking about influencer seeding and how it's the 'future of influencer marketing'. From my perspective, it's a double-edged sword. Yes, it allows brands a great way to enter the influencer marketing space with it being low barrier to entry. By using tangible products and including personalisation for the influencers, post rates can be high and therefore give brands a great insight into which influencers to use to develop relationships further with. However, my issue lies with influencer seeding for brands that sell digital products and services. From my perspective, it seems that post rates from seeded products are heavily reliant on their physical presence, otherwise it makes it very easy for influencers to forget about the product/service with them lacking incentive to post.
