Iâm an AI mentor. I help individuals and organizations create smart AI strategies by understanding how human behaviors and traits shape AIâs results.
Can AI Think for Itself? I feel I don't have to do much more than state the question. But I'll add this: how you answer will reveal a lot about how you perceive AI and how you'll utilize it. AI strategies share basic components like data, training, and KPIs. However, the belief you hold about AI's capability to think for itself significantly influences your approach. If You Think AI Cannot Think for Itself: Your strategy will likely focus on inputs. You'll emphasize controlling the inputs to manage outputs, aiming to increase your chances of success with AI onboarding. If You Think AI Can Think for Itself: Your strategy will focus on creating a collaborative environment. You'll consider both inputs and outputs, fostering a mindset of continuous change and evolution. This perspective acknowledges that AI, as a thinker, cannot be entirely controlled. There's no right or wrong answer hereâjust different paths depending on your organization's maturity level. Find out what I believe AI can do ⦠https://lnkd.in/ddB5Zekw What do you think? I help organisations break down knowledge silos and drive sustainable insight-led growth â¡ Founder | Author | Speaker | Knowledge Management Expert
The AI horse has bolted. In the words of Jakob Neilsen, âIt's not AI that will snatch your job, but the individual leveraging AI to outpace your performance.â But many teams face resistance from leadership when trying to introduce AI to support their work. Much of this resistance stems from a lack of education and hands-on experience with AI. In a recent survey of over 13,000 professionals, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) found that hands-on experience with AI tools makes business professionals more likely to be optimistic about the future prospects of AI in business. In fact, 62% of business professionals with experience using generative AI are optimistic about its future, a stark contrast to the mere 36% of respondents devoid of AI experience who share this optimism. Conversely, 42% of nonusers express concern about AI, whereas a negligible 22% of regular AI users echo these concerns (source in link). So, if you're facing resistance surrounding incorporating AI into your role, consider shifting your approach towards hands-on learning, allowing those who are hesitant to experience its benefits firsthand. You may find their mindset quickly shifts from 'resistance' to 'how might we...' mode. https://lnkd.in/dyGcQqez

Shaping the IT Landscape with Innovation ð | IT Consultant @Elinext | Streamlining Processes & Enhancing Performance
Why You Shouldn't Be Replaced by AI, Even by Someone Using It ð¤ð¤ In his latest article, Hamilton Mann discusses the importance of human skills and creativity in the age of AI. While AI can enhance productivity and efficiency, it cannot replace the unique capabilities that humans bring to the table. Mann emphasizes that the true value lies in the synergy between human intelligence and AI, rather than in AI alone. ð¨ Human Creativity: AI can assist but not replicate the creative and critical thinking skills of humans. ð¤ Collaboration Over Replacement: The future of work involves humans and AI working together to achieve greater outcomes. ðª Skill Development: Continuous learning and adapting to new technologies are essential for staying relevant in the AI-driven world. Book recommendation: Wharton professor Ethan Mollick immediately understood what #ChatGPT meant--after millions of years on our own, humans had developed a kind of co-intelligence that could augment, or even replace, human thinking. In his book, Mollick urges us to engage with AI as co-worker, co-teacher, and coach. He assesses its profound impact on business and education, using dozens of real-time examples of #AI in action. Co-Intelligence shows what it means to think and work together with smart machines, and why it's imperative that we master that skill.

5moThanks for sharing. At MPWR, we use AI in our daily work (e.g., to streamline tasks) to prevent reinventing the wheel whenever we onboard or work with a client. In that case, AI is a time saver. But when it comes to coaching, we still need that human touch and skill. Anna Gallotti wrote a lot about AI & Coaching.
