When I setup Bloxx, my goal was to make talent accessible, in an industry I love, I have done since I was very young. I grew up loving Media and Entertainment, my entire education is based on the arts. Media and Entertainment has followed me my entire adult life. I care about the changes and evolution of the industry. It matters how this industry will look in 10/20 yearsâ time. How I work: I work on a retained basis. Just because I have chosen not to hire 100âs of people to work with me, doesnât mean I donât have all the same tools larger companies have, in fact I do, and itâs better because Iâm not restricted in how I support you. Itâs a tailor-made approach to each and every hire, client & candidate. I allow smaller businesses to scale and grow without breaking the bank. What that means is; It can be difficult for smaller vendors to pay a fee upfront or all in one go. I will support the best way I can. Helping a client getting access to the right talent to allow them to grow and generate more revenue is a win in my eyes. Talent isnât a one size fits all model; all of our goals are different. Candidates - We are driven by different external factors, children, carer giving, wanting time, wanting more money, working from home, career progression, contracting, personal development the list is endless. Clients - pre investment, product roadblocks, tech changes, budget pressures, lack of incoming revenue, having to fail and pivot, changing direction, market pressures.
