It is undoubtedly true that businesses that approach human resources management with the mindset of managing a companyâs income statement will gradually lose strength and shrink over time. Companies that fail to value their human resources will one day realize this mistake through losses. At this point, emphasizing the value of a presentation, as you have mentioned, is extremely meaningful: a well-prepared and valuable piece of content that makes one exclaim, âThis is it!â Effectively expressing the importance of people-centric management in such a way is truly significant.
The syllabus of any BBA or MBA program is devoid of ethics, community, environmental ecosystems or adult learning theory. Regs on labor, environmental safety are not on the menu. The HR director is rarely considered a C-Suite position and often reports to a COO or CFO. They aren't at the table when facilities are planned, new technology is planned and introduced. HR education focuses on laws, OSHA, and other DOL regs which is good. However, it briefly looks at staff development and it's process from hire to termination/resignation. It doesn't focus on how to train supervisors and managers.
Such a refreshing approach! People-first leadership builds stronger, more sustainable businesses.
