I started the Margareting Academy website to share resources for folks working in the community who often need to wear a 'marketing hat' but don't have the resources for much marketing training. Often the go-to, when we're in this position (I know because it's where I started!) is to imitate the commercial marketing we see around us. But that doesn't always work for health, care and community services. I found this chart in my old notes from marketing school and thought it would be a good one to illustrate this point! Within the commercial world, there are very different approaches to take depending on what kind of product you're selling. So it's important to be careful whose example you follow!
