Milestone Alert: 10,000 Hectares of Land for Nature! 🎉🌿 This month, we’re celebrating a milestone achievement by our Business Conservation Advice Unit (BCA) in partnership with forward-thinking businesses.   A whole 10,000 hectares of land well-managed for nature - and dedicated to boosting biodiversity.   That’s an area of land equivalent to the size of Manchester, 227 golf courses, or 10 RSPB Minsmere nature reserves!   The BCA team has worked tirelessly alongside dedicated partners such as CEMEX UK, Lightrock Power, South Western Railway, idverde UK, Barratt Developments plc, and The Royal & Ancient (The R&A) to turn spaces that were once devoid of biodiversity into well-managed habitats, providing a haven for priority species and wildlife.   💬 From our Head of the BCA, Sam Tarrant: "The results we have achieved provide clear proof that, with the right help, nature can bounce back and that businesses can and do make a difference."   For over 100 years, the RSPB has worked tirelessly to protect nature in the UK. But the scale of the challenge demands collaboration. It's clear: to preserve our natural world for future generations, we need the commitment and action of businesses alongside us.   Through all our business engagement work we are supporting organisations to transition to ways of working that protect and restore nature. 🤝 Continue the momentum and reach out to the RSPB's business team today: businessadvice@rspb.org.uk 📑 Plus, discover the RSPB's BCA Unit's Impact report, showcasing some of the great work of our partners here: https://bit.ly/3I0xzNS #SustainableBusiness
