I'm thrilled to share that I've completed another intensive coaching training program at SolutionsAcademy encompassing 138 hours of training, group and individual mentoring, reflective practice, extensive self-learning and passing the coaching performance evaluation at ICF PCC level. This journey certifies my ability to offer diverse coaching services to organizations and individuals, focusing on business, leadership, conflict resolution, career development, and more, all grounded in evidence-based approaches. A standout aspect of this journey for me was the blend of solution-focused and narrative coaching approaches, masterfully designed by the awesome Kirsten Dierolf, ICF MCC, ICF ACTC, EMCC MP, ESIA, ITCA MP and her team. Kirsten´s wisdom has profoundly influenced my approach and coaching philosophy, challenging my worldview and teaching me to cherish wisdom over mere knowledge. A heartfelt thanks to my incredible trainers and mentors: Carlo Perfetto, Svea van der Hoorn, Roy Marriott, MCC, Cristina Mühl, PCC, ACTC, SP, ITCA SP, ESIA, and Chris Bekker. Each has been instrumental in shaping my experiential learning journey, providing both fun and profoundly reflective moments that have enriched my learning experience. Special gratitude to all my peers, whose unwavering support and shared knowledge was essential. Reflecting on my transition from a (neuro)scientist's rigid worldview to embracing the fluidity and interconnectedness of life, I opened myself to submitting my ‘knowledge’ to the ambiguity of paradox, entering a realm where attention can be narrowly focused yet aware of a broader context. Interactional coaching is a great tool to facilitate this shift. I look forward to leveraging this enriched perspective to support those on their development journeys, especially as our increasingly reductionistic, data-driven world needs it now more than ever.
