On day 2 of our Clean Tech Energy Network (#CTEN) roadshow in North Carolina we visited Duke University to explore how American innovation is creating sustainable solutions for both U.S. and African markets! â¡ Key highlight of yesterdayâs activities: Students competing in the 12th annual Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition! These future energy leaders are tackling real-world challenges. The challenge this year was to develop a solution for Zembo, a Ugandan e-mobility pioneer company that aims to build the nationâs largest battery-swapping network for electric motorcycles. Big congrats to Aakanksha Maheshwari, TRANG Nguyen, and Vaijayanthi Kadhiravan - an all-female team from Syracuse University - on your win! This is exactly what #CTEN is about - connecting U.S. innovation and expertise with African energy sector opportunities! #EnergyWeekatDuke #NorthCarolina #USInnovation #EnergyInnovation #CleanTech #EnergyAcess #Africa #PowerAfricaPartners #PowerAfrica John Hansen Erik Streed Stephanie Wiseman The James E.
