Lately, Iâve found myself drawn to robotics and AI with quite a bit of intensity. As a 51-year-old, I initially thought it might be some kind of mid-life crisis. But I realized it's more positive than that. It's a golden opportunity to start a new chapter in my life and dive into Robotics. Robotics and AI are rapidly evolving fields with immense potential to shape our future. We've heard it all before, haven't we? To kickstart my learning, I've planned an approach that touches all aspects. This medium article captures the start of the journey. Hope you enjoy the reading. More to come!

Throwback to my work on the Tri Finger Robot project at Arizona State University. This project was a deep dive into the world of robotics, where I supervised the design and implementation of a robot focused on high-precision object manipulation. The key lesson I learned was the importance of combining advanced sensor systems with optimized kinematic algorithms to achieve the desired robotic dexterity. This experience taught me that in robotics, precision isn't just about the hardware, it's about how the software and algorithms work together to bring the design to life. It was an incredible opportunity to see how machine learning frameworks, like TensorFlow, can enhance a robot's ability to adapt and accurately perform complex tasks. #TBT #Robotics #MachineLearning #EngineeringLessons #MechanicalEngineering #ASU
