Agree. Although a higher salary can be a cause for celebration, it is the day-to-day experience of working in a healthy and supportive workplace that truly makes a difference in an employee's happiness and job satisfaction over the course of the year.
Listen.. this is the struggle. Salary and benefits are only part of the puzzle. The way a workplace presents during the interview process may be vastly different from the daily experience. Finding your "whole person" fit in a role and workplace is key ð
ð Healthy minds nurture great working experiences! ð
At the end of the day, isn't it what we all long for? That fulfilling sense of accomplishment and warmth as we wrap up our work? No one wants to carry bitterness or dread into the next day. It's true, money can't solve everything, especially when it comes to our emotional well-being. Let's prioritize cultivating positivity and support in our workplaces, because when our minds are in a good place, everything else falls into harmony. ð¼â¨ #HealthyMinds#PositiveWorkCulture#EmotionalWellbeing
AGREE: A HEALTHY WORKPLACE KEEPS YOU HAPPY THROUGHOUT FOR MANY YEARS!!!!!
So Remember:
Step 1: Be a Team Leader
Step 2: Support your employees / colleagues
Step 3: Be kind 2 each other
Step 4: Smile & Be Happy
Love this quote! The next question is how do you define healthy? And how do we progress from happy to joyful. Do you have a workplace health checklist? Are you inclusive? How do you determine this? Is it conceptual or are you practicing?

Happy weekend!
So, it's not always about the magnitude of the salary. I agree with Brigette Hyacinth 100%. Although, in my country where you need the personal income to do for yourself what the government should have done for you, the salary seriously counts.
But let's focus on a healthy workplace. What makes a workplace healthy?
To my HR colleagues (remember that we are business partners, no longer a workplace police unit).
To start with, from an HR angle, how you make a new employee feel when joining your company (alias onboarding) matters. Then, the culture and the core values that underpin daily operations - how the staff members feel - is important. Does your company:
1. Intentionally care about staff welfare?
2. Place medical and mental health above targets?
3. Communicate, clearly, the goals and objectives of the business?
4. Communicate, clearly, the SMART goals for each employee?
5. Communicate reasons for change whenever they arise?
6. Develop leaders from within, and shun (or minimise) micromanagement?
7. Allow open communication?
8. Allow employees to fail forward?
9. Demonstrate integrity in their compensation policies?
10. Celebrate successes and jointly own areas for improvement?
I can go on and on...
Thanks, Brigette.
