In 1964, Bob Bernstein and Skip Rein understood the real meaning of success. Itâs measured by our personal connections. Weâve made so many great memories with members of the BR family over the past 60 years. Weâd love to hear some of your favorites.

Since last night when I heard the news, I have been in shock and saddened by Herbert Wigwe's passing. Reflecting on this news has left me deeply thoughtful. It serves as a stark reminder of life's unpredictability and the importance of the legacy we leave behind.
Herbert, the Group CEO of Access Holdings Plc, was not merely a business leader but a visionary with a promising future. The tragic helicopter crash that claimed his life and those of five others prompts us to question the true worth of our efforts.
In moments like these, we are compelled to ponder: Is it all worth it? Does the pursuit of success hold meaning if it can be abruptly cut short? Herbert's untimely departure underscores the fragility of life and the fleeting nature of our achievements.
However, amidst the uncertainty, one thing stands out â the legacy we build. It is not just about the wealth gathered or the positions achieved; Herbert's legacy is not solely defined by his accomplishments. It is about the lives he influenced, the communities he enriched, and the values he instilled in others.
Let us honor Herbert's memory by reflecting on our own legacies. Let us strive to build something that transcends material gainsâa legacy of integrity, kindness, and positive change. Because in the end, it is not the money or the titles that define us; it is the impact we make and the memories we leave behind.
In the end, it is the name that outlasts us.

It has been a great week that has reinvigorated me!
On Monday, I completed a major project I have been working on for the last 4 months.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, I attended the LEAP TD: Construction conference in Nashville where I made some great connections with other T&D professionals and learned a lot from the presentations and discussions!
On Thursday, I knocked a presentation out of the park to senior leadership on my implementation plan on a new training initiative. This was followed by my performance review where a lot of great conversation was had and I received a raise!
My transition from the Navy to civilian life has been difficult at times. There have been days this year that I felt like I was just falling flat on my face. There have been times where I was ready to give up. I questioned many things about myself that I have never questioned before. Iâve had multiple people over the last 5 months tell me to give myself some grace when I told them how I was struggling and didnât feel like I was in the right place. Iâve had arguments with my wife because I couldnât see that she was just trying to support me the best way she knew how. To say it simply, itâs been a roller coaster ride.
If you are transitioning or about to, know that transition is hard, but donât give up. We are taught in the military that you have to jump right in and have an impact, but now you will have to give yourself some grace. YOUR ENTIRE WORLD IS CHANGING. Itâs not simply from one role to another. It is one culture to a whole new one, and that takes a while to adjust to. There will be days you will feel like you have failed, but just keep moving forward. Eventually, you will have a week like I just had, and you will realize, itâs all been worth it!
I had an HR Director say: Normally, a person is not expected to be fully transitioned into a role for 12-24 months ð¤¯ð¤¯ð¤¯

Today's #SuperBowlLVI news brings not one, but two stories worth celebrating: the continued dominance of Travis Kelce and the impactful retirement of Jason Kelce
Travis, the ageless wonder, proves once again that talent transcends age. His fire on the field is a masterclass in athleticism and dedication, making him a force to be reckoned with in Arizona.
But let's not forget the heart of Philadelphia, Jason Kelce. His "Get your popcorn ready!" energy wasn't just a catchphrase; it embodied his passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the Eagles. His retirement signifies the end of an era, but his impact on the game and the city extends far beyond the gridiron.
The Kelce brothers offer a fascinating study in contrast. One charges towards another Lombardi, the other departs a champion. It's a testament to the diverse paths within the NFL, showcasing not only the thrill of victory but also the grace of stepping down at the top.
Beyond the Kelce narrative, this moment sparks broader questions. What does it mean to leave on a high note? How do athletes transition from the intensity of the game to a different chapter in life?
As George's observation highlights, the Kelce brothers remind us that athletes are individuals with lives beyond the spotlight. They aren't just celebrities; they're family, friends, and members of our communities.
So, while we celebrate Travis's Super Bowl run and Jason's legacy, let's also use this opportunity to explore the deeper themes of athleticism, legacy, and navigating life after the roar of the crowd.
