Make sure you fully research the company you are interviewing with including looking up your interviewers on LinkedIn. 2. Do a trial run to ensure you know where to park or public transport timings the last thing you want to be doing is rushing the day off and stressed because you are running late! 3. Run though example competency based questions and prepare answers where you pull on your previous experience for example if you are interviewing for a customer service role think of times you have dealt with a difficult customer or gone above and beyond etc. What is your top interview preparation tip? Empowering IT Services SMEs to find top talent and solve challenges. Expert in matching exceptional candidates with businesses to drive success and growth
As a recruiter, I often encounter candidates who struggle to articulate their strengths and weaknesses during interviews. It's important to remember that discussing weaknesses is not about self-deprecation, but rather about self-awareness and growth. When asked about strengths, focus on specific examples of your accomplishments and how they have positively impacted your previous roles. When discussing weaknesses, be honest and transparent, but also demonstrate how you are actively working to improve in those areas. This shows potential employers that you are self-aware and committed to personal and professional development. Remember, interviews are an opportunity to showcase your skills and potential, so be prepared to discuss both your strengths and weaknesses with confidence and professionalism. ðªð¼ð¼ð #InterviewTips #ProfessionalDevelopment #SelfAwareness

Preparing for an interview is very different from working on a project. In my experience, the knowledge you need for a job often doesnât match what youâre tested on in an interview. Interview prep can feel like a whole other challenge because you need to memorize things you might not even use in the actual role. Job postings often list a long set of skills, which can make it seem like you need to know everything. But once you start the job, youâll likely use only a few core skills regularly. There are exceptions, but for most roles, youâll lean on 2-3 main skills. So, donât let long job descriptions or interview prep overwhelm you. Apply anyway! You never know what opportunity might be yours. #JobHunt #CareerAdvice #InterviewPrep #KeepGoing #TechCareers #JobSearchTips #StayPositive #TechInterviews
