One of the biggest advantages of franchising is the ability to replicate a proven business model through well-defined systems and processes. Keith Gerson learned early on at McDonald's, that having standardized operations manuals, training programs, and brand standards is critical for maintaining consistency across all franchise locations. This consistency is what builds customer trust and brand reputation. Whether it's the specific food preparation methods, customer service protocols, or marketing strategies, clearly documented systems ensure each franchisee delivers the same great experience associated with the brand. For franchisors, having these processes in place also enables much easier scalability when adding new franchise locations. Instead of starting from scratch, new franchisees can hit the ground running by implementing the franchisor's pre-built systems. If a franchisee changes their signage to operate independently within six months, a robust system for managing franchise partners is necessary. Consider McDonaldâs strategy: they buy land, build on it, and then rent it out to franchisees. This gives McDonaldâs complete control over the franchise. The franchisee, benefitting from a prime location, finds value in staying with the McDonaldâs brand for guaranteed profits. Our approach with one of our clients was different. We used a website for all orders. This online platform was key to maintaining control. Franchisees would likely only stay with us for a maximum of six months without it, as they could build up a customer base, change the signage, and then operate independently. Therefore, creating a strong control system for franchise partners is essential before franchising your business. #scale #franchise

Why does âResponsible Franchisingâ even matter? Other than wanting to do right by our franchisees and build systems that allow them to scale their business and have predictable results? It actually matters WAY more than you think. Hereâs why: People outside our industry hear one of two things when they hear the word âfranchiseâ. 1 â They think franchising is just McDonalds, Chic Filet or other legacy fast food brands 2 â Or if they know more than that, they think things like, âstay away from franchises, the fees are too highâ or âthis guy I knew bought a franchise and he didnât get any support and had to close his businessâ The next generation of franchisors will do the right things to end this. Lawsuits and irresponsible behavior will stop. The next generation of franchisors CARE about helping franchisees. The franchise model is such an incredible way to generate significant wealth IF it is done properly and that's the only way it should be done. #responsiblefranchising #weareaFRANCHISEEindustryÂ

On the heels of another strong year of unit-level sales growth and system-wide remodeling efforts, Melting Pot, a 93-unit experiential dining fondue franchise, has launched a franchise growth incentive, designed to help the brand meet the growing customer demand, as shown through limited Open Table reservation availability in major markets. Franchise Growth Incentive | Expires July 1, 2024 𫵠A candidate or current Melting Pot franchise owner that is approved may execute a new restaurant franchise agreement, paying only a $5,000 franchise fee per unit (discounted from $45,000 * - with a rebate paid at lease signing). 𫵠Leases must be executed within a 9 month period to earn the rebate. Additionally, if a franchisee executes the lease within 6 months, they will receive a reduced royalty rate of 3% for the first year. âWe want to continue to show our franchisees that we are sincerely invested in their success,â said Bob Johnston, CEO. âThrough this incentive, we are focused on a few things: growth and cash to deploy on marketing/driving customers to the restaurants,â ð https://lnkd.in/gRpMkkve #restaurant #franchise #restaurantowner
