One of the biggest advantages of franchising is the ability to replicate a proven business model through well-defined systems and processes. Keith Gerson learned early on at McDonald's, that having standardized operations manuals, training programs, and brand standards is critical for maintaining consistency across all franchise locations. This consistency is what builds customer trust and brand reputation. Whether it's the specific food preparation methods, customer service protocols, or marketing strategies, clearly documented systems ensure each franchisee delivers the same great experience associated with the brand. For franchisors, having these processes in place also enables much easier scalability when adding new franchise locations. Instead of starting from scratch, new franchisees can hit the ground running by implementing the franchisor's pre-built systems. CEO Boomers Parks | Board Director Coney Park | Family Entertainment, Restaurant and Food & Beverage Turnaround Specialist
Not all franchising is the same. Take restaurant franchises versus Family Entertainment Centers for example. The two represent distinct approaches to the business landscape. Restaurants focus on selling products, their success often hinges on factors like supply and demand dynamics and the impact of inflation on ingredient costs. FECs offer a unique proposition by selling experiences and leisure time. Unlike tangible goods, the supply of time remains constant, providing FEC franchisees with a more stable revenue stream regardless of economic fluctuations. Additionally, FECs have the added benefit of offering quality food alongside their entertainment offerings, enhancing the overall customer experience and diversifying revenue sources. The streamlined model of an FEC allows franchisees to prioritize customer experience and innovative marketing strategies for growth and profitability. Understanding these differences is key to make informed investment decisions aligned with your business goals. Interested in learning more? Good work Wingstop Restaurants Inc. ð Thatâs an increase of nearly 29 percent, according to the companyâs second-quarter earnings call. The 2,352-unit chicken wing franchise set its $2 million AUV target two years ago when U.S. average volumes hit $1.5 million. Same-store sales are up 28.7 percent, âwhich was almost entirely driven by transaction growth,â CEO Michael Skipworth said. Now, Skipworth said a $3 million target isnât far off. #Wingstop added 73 restaurants last quarter and brought in $1.2 billion last quarterâa 45 percent increase over last yearâs Q2. ð Follow #FalconConstruction for more Franchising News & Updates ð , ð source: Franchise Times . #FranchiseBuilders #NationwideConstruction #BuildingFranchises #ConstructionExperts #FranchiseGrowth #BuildingNationwide #FranchiseExpansion #ConstructionSuccess #NationalBuilders #FranchiseDevelopment #ConstructionLeaders #FranchiseOpportunities #BuildingCommunities #FranchiseInvestment #ConstructionInnovation #FranchiseEntrepreneurship #BuildingDreams #FranchiseManagement #ConstructionQuality #FranchiseEmpire #NationwideDevelopers #FranchiseOwnership #ConstructionProgress

A common misconception I hear often is that franchising is mostly fast food. Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR) get a lot of attention and to be fair, there are some massive brands in the space but they represent less than a quarter of the total franchise industry. According to research by FRANdata in the International Franchise Association's 2024 Franchising Economic Report: QSR's are expected to reach 199,808 establishments by the end of 2024. Total franchise establishments across all industries are expected to reach 821,589 by the end of 2024. That means that QSR's are sitting at a little over 24% of all franchise establishments. So what else is out there? Commercial Services. Residential Services. Real Estate. Personal Services. Pets. Children's education. Automotive. And more. There's a lot more opportunity than most people realize! #franchising #businessownership #franchise
