Since launching the PR Bunker, Iâve been connected to #nonprofit execs who are in need of senior level counsel on all things communications, marketing and PR.
The challenges they face are incredibly complicated, but when you dig deep, thereâs usually one core problem.
Storytelling.
How do they get their story âout thereâ and do so in a manner that grabs attention, gets people to care and eventually, drives them to support financially or through volunteerism.
What my clients are learning through being engaged with myself and my extended network of senior professionals, is that we can do the job of a dozen people, in half the time, and with much less resources required than hiring a full time staff of 3-5 people.
Now, donât get me wrong, to be effective at the job, we need internal champions â those that can connect us to key people, context, provide backup info and the like.
Itâs a true partnership in that manner and both parties win.
Hereâs why.
One, the clients are able to have growth focused and experienced veterans at the belm of all things marketing and communications, without the burden of huge salaries, benefits and less accountability.
Two, as a strategic partner, we are still âat willâ vendors, which means we have to work three times as hard to keep the business and succeed.
Three, we like the pressure. We thrive in it. We seek it out. We want the mission to be fulfilled, but we take an aggressive business mindset to the job.
Thatâs why Iâm asking you, my network, to tag those that work for a nonprofit in, who are in executive positions, but need some muscle to move the proverbial needle. Have them reach out.
Weâre hunker down in the bunker, ready to go to work and help move their mission forward, raise money, and support their communities.
Letâs do this.
