Experienced + Passionate Marketer Creating Organizational Impact ð¯ Director of Marketing & Business Development, Farrell Fritz, P.C.
Really interesting Crain's New York Business article on succession planning challenges in the National Football League (NFL) and the potential for private equity expansion in the business. The NFL is big business; private equity would likely love to invest in the success of the sport--and the profits that come with it. https://lnkd.in/erJTCz_U Succession planning and wealth accumulation at this level is incredibly complex. The tax implications are huge and without proper planning, many of these owners (and their multi generation families) will end up with tremendous tax liabilities. This article dives into some of the structures that currently exist, but if the NFL opens up to PE investment, it will only continue to complicate ownership and structure. Fascinating stuff here. Worth a read. #nfl #successionplanning #wealthtransfer Farrell Fritz, P.C.

It was great hearing from prior Hiring Our Heroes alums talk about their previous experiences going through the Fellowship program. It helped put this first week at our host companies into perspective. The biggest takeaways that I got were: 1. Be humble and hungry to learn! 2. My network IS my net worth. 3. Treat every interaction as a potential interview and show you are a team player. 4. Soft skills > Technical skills 5. Remember to focus on my well-being. Any other advice from anyone for onboarding into a new job?

I help individuals break free from limiting beliefs to unlock their full potential. Through personalized coaching and proven strategies, I guide clients to achieve mindset transformation and lasting growth.
Limiting beliefs? Not in this family!! ðLeBron James, the man from Akron, Ohio, has always been more than just a basketball player. Growing up in a single-parent household, he faced significant challenges, moving homes around ten times as a young boy. ðDespite these obstacles, his talent and determination propelled him from high school directly into the NBA, where he has never looked back. Today, LeBron is not only a superstar for the Los Angeles Lakers but also a billionaire, a testament to his exceptional career and business acumen. But what makes his story truly remarkable is not just his individual success, but the legacy he is building. ðWith his son now joining him in the NBA and on his team, we are witnessing the continuation of generational wealth and opportunity. LeBron's story is one of resilience, excellence, and giving back. He uses his platform and resources to uplift communities, particularly in Akron and Los Angeles, making a global impact through philanthropy and advocacy. ðThis is, in my opinion, one of the greatest stories in sports history, showcasing how hard work and dedication can transform lives and create lasting legacies. Regardless of how well his son performs in the NBA, the most inspiring part of this narrative is seeing generational wealth being passed onânot just through finance, but through values, opportunities, and support. LeBronâs commitment to his community and his family's future is a powerful example for us all. ð£How do you see the role of generational wealth and community impact evolving in the world of sports and beyond? Check out this article co-authored by CREW Dallas members Cecily Bolding and Jennifer Grammer! Learn how an upcoming potential change in tax law could affect land and real estate owners. It's great to see our members sharing their expertise through valuable information that directly benefits others in CRE.
It's football season! Some financial providers liken their role to that of a quarterback. I relate more to an offensive lineman. The offensive line protects the quarterback's blind side, strategically creates space for a ball carrier to run, and works as a team. In wealth management, blind sides come in many forms. One that Jennifer Grammer, CPA and I, in our mutual service of high-net-worth families, serve to protect is an estate tax obligation resulting from a lack of planning. Since our original connection was through CREW Dallas, when writing the article below, it was only fitting that the example balance sheet depict a commercial real estate investor. It is our hope that this article serves to educate and invite thoughtful planning conversations with your advisors. Afterall, you are the quarterback. https://lnkd.in/gZZiJdPs Whitley Penn #EstatePlanning

Founder | Elevating Your Wealth-Building Game Plan with Integrity, Knowledge & Passion | Building Wealth is by Choice Not Chance.
I recently got back from an epic trip to the West Coast with my wife and son. It was part business, part family adventure, and 100% unforgettable. Last year, my son and I made a pact to see every baseball stadium. This trip, we knocked off the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, and Giants. Four stadiums in one tripâif stadium-hopping was a sport, weâd be MVPs! But it wasnât just about baseball. We hit all the hotspots: Hollywood sign, Walk of Fame, sea lions in La Jolla, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and even an old Cold War nuclear missile site (who knew history could be so cool?). Shout out to one of my best friends, Phil Mauritz, for being an awesome host in SF! ðððð¥ðð¡ ð¢ð¬ð§âð ð£ð®ð¬ð ððð¨ð®ð ðð¡ð ð§ð®ð¦ððð«ð¬ ð¢ð§ ð²ð¨ð®ð« ððð§ð¤ ðððð¨ð®ð§ð; ð¢ðâð¬ ððð¨ð®ð ðð¡ð ð«ðð¥ððð¢ð¨ð§ð¬ð¡ð¢ð©ð¬ ðð¡ðð ðð§ð«ð¢ðð¡ ð²ð¨ð®ð« ð¥ð¢ðð. Itâs those shared experiences with family and friends, especially while the kids are still young and think youâre the coolest person ever (which Iâm sure will fade quickly). Meeting with clients on this trip reinforced this belief. We talked investments, but we also shared stories and laughter. It reminded me that building wealth is a blend of financial success and creating a life full of cherished relationships. ðð®ð¢ð¥ðð¢ð§ð ð°ððð¥ðð¡ ð¢ð¬ ðð² ðð¡ð¨ð¢ðð, ð§ð¨ð ðð² ðð¡ðð§ðð. Itâs about making the right financial decisions to create a life full of rich experiences. So, hereâs to investing in what truly matters and hitting those life home runs! #RelationshipsMatter #ChoiceNotChance #FamilyAdventures #LifeGoals P.S. For those of you who know I also have a daughter, don't worry, we didn't just leave her homeâshe was away at camp with her friends.
