I Just finished the course “Setting a Vision: How to Gain Clarity on Your Goals” by Madecraft and Mechelle McDonald!  I've been Juggling exams lately and I have realized that it's so easy to feel a bit lost, overwhelmed, and exhausted. This course has forced me to think about how setting goals during exams can help one stay motivated. Why do I WANT to ace these exams? Turns out, it's all about feeling a sense of accomplishment landing my dream internship and just being a winner overall. This "why" is my fuel! Baby steps over overwhelm! Instead of staring down a mountain of study material, I'm committing to chunking it into bite-sized goals. That way it's much more manageable! Visualizing victory! Prioritize learning new skills along side of your main skill. Why? The more skills you have, the more valuable you become. Example; learn three-four skills related to or complementary to your main skill. It will help you grow and lead to better opportunities.

The time of year does not matter. What matters is you finally taking the first step. Everyday I battle with the ability to keep pushing for the goals I’ve set for myself. It’s never easy to say the least. Time is one of those things that we can’t control, not even the slightest, yet it somehow shapes how we see opportunities and whether we feel ready. But what I’m learning is this: regardless what time of day, week, month, or year it is — the only thing that truly matters is your action. So get out of your head and do what you said you’d do, even if it’s the last days of the year.
