The first day of RecFest USA was such a blast! The highlight was of course our panel with Tejal Rives, Farah Sharghi, and Mike Peditto where we had a candid discussion around some of what we hear every day from jobseekers and how recruiters and hiring managers can do better by their applicants. I also attended sessions around the potential role of AI in recruiting, explored lots of cool products designed to make recruiting easier for everyone, and most importantly, I got to meet people I've only known online! WOW, what an experience it was to exhibit at RecFest UK! Where to start, the weather was glorious, the atmosphere was electric and our EVPing game had queues to play all day long (the ping pong balls did well to hang on in there). Watching England win on Wednesday night was definitely a good omen as to how the following day was going to pan out... I got to meet and speak to lots of incredible TA acquisition specialists, and watch them throw ping pong balls at their colleagues heads - and when does that ever happen?! Neil's speaker slot all about the EVP onion and how to develop a comprehensive EVP was insightful and engaging - he explained that the company's EVP has to be not only the communications projected outwardly, but the lived experience of employees too. I have to pinch myself for how fortunate I am for the last 6 weeks with RedKnows - to work with such an incredible team, to learn so much and grow so quickly and to have consistent and abundance support is such a blessing. This weekend, I'll be at the spa getting some R&R with my phone well and truly OFF. If anyone needs me, sending smoke signals or something (although I may mistake it for aromatherapy so maybe don't). #Recfest2024 #recruitment #marketing

Really excited to be announced as the first Track Lead for the return of #truLeeds! When I saw Martin post about Tru in the (TTC) The Talent Community, I jumped at the chance to run a track. For me, they are one of the best TA events because; ð No ego stroking presentations ð° No bias or corporate sales pitches ð Purely result driven and outcome focused Tracks get ð ð«ððð ð¦ð¢ð§ðð¬ ðð¨ð ððð¡ðð« to spark ðð§ ð¢ð§ððð«ðððð¢ð¯ð ðððððð, where everyone comes home with some ðððð¢ð¨ð§ððð¥ð ð¢ð§ð¬ð¢ð ð¡ð ðð¨ ð¦ðð¤ð ð¡ð¨ð° ðð¡ðð² ð«ððð«ð®ð¢ð ðððððð«.
