I talk to A lot of women who don't know how to ASK for a raise or promotion. Then year after year are disappointed that you didn't get what you expected but didn't ASK for. Let's break it down. 🧐 1. You should have at least a monthly meeting with your boss. 2. At the top of the quarter, tell them where you see yourself in the next 365 days and 5 years. 3. ASK, what do I need to do to reach the 1-year goal? 4. ASK, what do I need to do to reach the 5 year goal? 5. ASK, what do I need to do this quarter to get there. 6. When you meet with them at the end of the quarter, cite what you've done and ask do they see any gaps in the expectations that were set. 7. Measure your progress. THEN ASK for what you said you wanted. If you're the only person that knows your short and long-term goals, that's a problem.😒 If you don't have any short-term or long-term goals THAT'S A BIGGER PROBLEM. P.S.
