🚀 Power BI Developer Interview Experience! I recently had the chance to interview for a Power BI Developer role, and here’s how it went! I’m happy to share that I answered 8 out of 10 questions correctly, which boosted my confidence and experience. Here’s a breakdown of the questions I faced: 1️⃣ Tell me about yourself – Talked about my background, skills, and passion for data analysis 📊. 2️⃣ Tell me about your previous company and current designation – Shared my experience as a Junior Tableau Developer at Zadley 🧑💻. 3️⃣ What is the difference between Tableau and Power BI? – Explained the strengths of both tools and their use cases 📊 vs 📈. 4️⃣ Which data warehouse do you use in your current company? – Mentioned that we use BigQuery as our data warehouse in the cloud ☁️. 5️⃣ Tell me about joins in SQL – Broke down different types of joins (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT, FULL) 🔗. 6️⃣ What is UNION in SQL? – Explained how UNION combines results from multiple tables 🔄. 7️⃣ Write a query for two tables: Employee (4 columns) and Department (2 columns) with no matching columns, and retrieve all data – Tackled this SQL challenge successfully 💻. 8️⃣ What is a procedure query? – Explained how stored procedures simplify tasks 🔁. 9️⃣ What is Power Query Editor? – Discussed how it helps clean and transform data before analysis in Power BI 🔧. 🔟 What is ETL? – Described the Extract, Transform, Load process and its role in data workflows 🛠️. Answering 8 out of 10 questions correctly was a proud moment for me, and it definitely added to my professional growth 🌱.
