How do you follow up with leads/prospects? I used to pride myself in follow up... But as time went on I saw my success/conversion rate decrease... Why was that? I came to realize I was following up all wrong... I would often follow up by saying things like... "Hey, just following up..." or "Wanted to circle back..." or "Just touching base..." I realized this was the wrong approach... I was setting the wrong tone and approach I wanted with a customer... I needed to adjust and lead the sales cycle... Here is what I have done to change my follow up and have seen a huge response rate in making sure we move toward next steps... The key is to make note of your last conversation and what next steps were discussed... Here is an example, "Hey Todd, last we spoke you mentioned you wanted to find a solution by end of this quarter. Does it make sense to schedule the POC for this upcoming Friday?" The key phrase has been, "does it make sense..." You are showing the customer you were listening and you are also leading the conversation... You arent just waiting around hoping one day you move to next steps... You have to be proactive and lead the sales cycle... What would you add to your follow up? You got this! ð #accountexecutive #saassales #techsales #prospecting #followup

Graphics Designer ðª || Helping Businesses/Brands to create AUTHORITY BUILDING VISUAL DESIGNS to get them STAND-OUT, HEARD AND HIRED ðª || Helped 24+ Businesses Achieve Branding Domination.
I just found a secret sales hack.... As simple as it may be, understanding your clients is the secret sales hack I found out ððð Continue Reading.... Every client is differentiated into two divisions POTENTIAL CLIENTS (LEADS) KINETIC CLIENT (PROSPECTS). Let's bring in PHYSICS a little into this ðð Kinetic Energy is Energy at motion (A PROSPECT) while Potential Energy is Energy at rest (A LEAD). The same way it applies to your sales. This is a secret psychology hack that can boost your sales. Let's bring this into our sales. ðªðªðª The key difference between a prospect and a lead lies in their qualification and level of engagement. Here's a breakdown: Lead: A lead is someone who has shown initial interest in what you offer, but their fit as a customer is yet to be determined. They might have downloaded a white paper, signed up for a free trial, or even filled out a contact form. Leads are at the top of the sales funnel a large group with some potential for conversion. Prospect: A prospect is a warmer contact who has been qualified as a good fit for your product or service. This qualification process usually involves assessing factors like their budget, needs, and decision-making authority. Prospects have typically shown more engagement than leads, perhaps by responding to emails, attending a webinar, or scheduling a call. They are considered more likely to convert into paying customers and have moved further down the sales funnel Here's an analogy: Imagine sifting for gold. Leads are like a pile of pebbles with some potential to contain gold flakes. Prospects are the smaller pebbles that have been panned out and show more promise of containing valuable gold nuggets. Now how can you push a LEAD INTO BECOMING A PROSPECT? Follow me and turn on the notifications so that you will be notified on my next post on this Hope you found value in this post... And what are your own parameters to measure a LEAD from a PROSPECT? Let me know in the comments section #graphicsdesign #saleshack #leads #prospects

B2B Lead Gen & Executive Appointment Setting | Speaker | Consultant | 5 Book Author | B2B Sales Growth | ScottChannell.com
When it comes to sales prospecting and lead generation, what do you rank as your #1 concern? For me, I would rank choosing words that have the most impact on buyers as #1, by far. #b2bsales #objectionhandling #appointmentsetter  The words we choose matter. The words chosen must impact buyers enough to "raise their hands" or book more time with us.  Our personal comfort in delivering those words is irrelevant.  The clarity of what you do, your credibility, their perception of what you might do for them and their desire for the value you might deliver, is what affects buyers.  In my mind, prioritizing being non-salesy (whatever that means) sounding conversational and staying in a personal comfort zone trying to avoid a "no" is not a recipe for effective sales messaging.     IMHO the top consideration should be, are my words powerful enough such that a buyer, someone that recognizes a need and is going to write a check to me or one of my competitors in the next three to 15 months, would be given cause for pause and enabled to conclude that I am worth more time?  Saying words that impact buyers sufficiently such that they would continue the call, or read an email and conclude that a discovery call was worthwhile is goal #1.  Doing what we are personally comfortable with, consider non-salesy and comfy conversation is totally irrelevant to the question, do the words we choose impact buyers sufficiently to move to the next step?  Below is my top 10 list of sales messaging articles.  What is your #1 concern when generating leads or setting discovery calls? https://lnkd.in/eevsjwNN

Is your business experiencing dramatic swings in sales? You're not alone, but there are strategies you can implement to achieve more consistent results. Here are seven effective sales techniques to help you maintain steady sales: 1. Systematic Lead Generation: Ensure a consistent flow of leads to keep your sales pipeline healthy. Set specific targets and regularly schedule appointments with prospective clients. 2. Understand Your Sales Cycle: Knowing the average time it takes to close a sale helps you better manage your pipeline and expectations. 3. Know Your Numbers: Track your key metricsâlike the number of leads needed to close a saleâto set realistic targets and achieve consistent results. 4. Actively Seek Referrals: Encourage satisfied clients to refer you to others, making new connections easier. 5. Focus on Securing Appointments: Aim to set meetings rather than making a sales pitch over the phone. It's about building relationships, not just transactions. 6. Prepare for Objections: Be ready to address common objections during cold calls, and do your homework to counter potential misconceptions about your product or service. 7. Follow Up and Listen: Strong client relationships are built on trust and active listening. Always follow up and take notes during meetings to show clients theyâre valued.
