Excited to share my first Power BI project! I recently built an interactive dashboard for Madhav Store to track and analyze their online sales across India. Itâs been an insightful experience working through the intricacies of marketing analytics and data visualization. Key highlights of the project: Developed a dynamic dashboard to track key metrics like sales amount, quantity, profit, and average order value (AOV). Incorporated complex filters and slicers for a detailed view, enabling a better understanding of sales by state, payment mode, and product category. Created various data connections, joins, and calculated fields to ensure all aspects of the data were accessible and insightful. Visualizations used included bar charts, donut charts, maps, and line chartsâeach aimed at telling a specific part of the story. Key insights: Maharashtra led in terms of sales, with COD being the preferred payment method. Clothing turned out to be the most popular product category, followed by electronics. December was the most profitable monthâhighlighting the impact of end-of-year shopping trends. Big thanks to Rishabh Mishra for helpful tutorialsâdefinitely made navigating the trickier parts of Power BI smoother.
