  • Motion planning of Autonomous Vehicle using Autoware and Carla Simulation.

    -

    1. ROS Based simulation platform Autoware is used for global motion planning of Autonomous vehicle and goal point on the vector map is selected using Rviz.
    2. Local planning considering Obstacle Avoidance, Lane follower and signal detection is done using Carla Simulator.
    3.Minimization of distance between the lanes and heuristic functions are used to select the proper lane while obstacle avoidance.

  • Grid Localization and State Estimation using Bayes' Filter

    1. Implementation of Bayes' Filter algorithm that is the algorithm finds out the probabilities of the robot’s presence at every grid cell.The grid cells with maximum probabilities at each step, characterize the robot’s trajectory.
    2. Runs in two iterative steps Motion Model (Control input) and Observation Model (update step).

  • Global and Local Path Planning using A* and modified VFH (VFH+) Algorithm using ROS

    1. During this project the robot made to autonomously plan and execute a path for a robot in the Stage Simulator from a start location to a goal location, given a map. The global plan is given by A*and the local planning is done using a modified Vector Field Histogram (VFH) .

  • Galactic Trooper
