Truist reports 3Q24 results with net income of $1.3 billion. âIn the third quarter, we made considerable progress on driving revenue growth through our core banking business by adding new clients, deepening relationships, hiring and developing talented teammates, and investing in technology and infrastructure while maintaining strong expense discipline. Asset quality metrics were better than our expectations. We also returned $1.2 billion of capital to our shareholders in the form of our common stock dividend and share repurchases completed during the quarter. Â Hurricanes Helene and Milton significantly affected teammates and clients in many communities Truist serves. We are working closely with those impacted by these disasters and are committed to help these communities rebuild. I am particularly proud of Truist teammates living our purpose, which has been on full display these past few weeks. Together, we will continue to deliver on our purpose and care for our clients, which fuels our momentum and growth.â - Bill Rogers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Full Truist earnings results and disclosures here: bit.ly/3BPnLGL

Our teammates continue to inspire us through their purposeful acts of care. As many communities in Florida brace for the projected devastation from yet another hurricane, putting our purpose into action has never been more important. #TruistTogether #OneTeam #TruistCares
Our hearts are with all who have been impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene, and those now in the path of Hurricane Milton. Last week, I spent time with teammates and clients in some of the hardest-hit parts of Florida and the Carolinas. Seeing this unimaginable tragedy firsthand was difficult and deeply moving. I was more inspired than ever by our teammates who are doing incredible, heroic work to help meet the needs of their neighbors, distributing supplies and making sure Truist is open to serve our clients, even as their own lives have been upended by this disaster. Truistâs Humanitarian Aid team and hundreds of teammate volunteers from across the company have also been out in force to help our communities. Weâve set up sites in Asheville, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and St. Petersburg, Florida, where weâve distributed thousands of meals and hundreds of pallets with critical supplies, including bottled water, nonperishable food, personal care and comfort items, and more to those in need. Weâve deployed mobile bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities. And weâre deploying mobile branches, ATMs, and generators to help ensure we can continue to serve our clients who may be in areas that are still without power. Our teammates truly are our purpose in action, inspiring and building better lives and communities. And I could not be more proud to serve alongside them as we work together to recover and rebuild.
