Today we had the honor of hosting U.S. Representative Dan Newhouse for a tour of our Moses Lake plant, followed by a town hall discussion with community partners, and Sila employees. This event highlighted the crucial collaboration between policymakers and private industry. Our Head of Government Affairs, Alex Fitzsimmons moderated a fruitful conversation focused on the role that Sila and Grant County play in driving new #energy innovation, enhancing the U.S. #battery supply chain, and developing a #workforce for the future. We had an incredible time volunteering at the Computer Science & Technology Fair and the College & Career EXPO at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake! Our team of 13 Silazens was proud to volunteer at this amazing event, which attracted 1,000 students from across the region and state.
