  • 🌟 Community Connection Alert! 🌟 We're thrilled to see our Platte River experts shining in the spotlight! Recently, Dr. Masood Ahmad, our senior manager of resource planning, rocked the stage at S&P Global Financing U.S. Power Conference, sharing utility insights on how gas-fired power generation can complement renewable generation to provide reliability and backup. With over 100 delegates in attendance, his knowledge was in high demand! 🔌💡 And that's not all! Our very own Paul Davis, director of distributed energy resources, delivered an exciting update on the virtual power plant to the Loveland Sertoma group, thanks to a special request from Representative Ron Weinberg. 🌱⚡️ We're proud to have such passionate experts representing us and making waves in the community! Keep up the great work, team! 🙌💚

  • Happy National Bison Day! 🎉 Did you know our team at Rawhide Energy Station cares for two bison herds roaming our grasslands? Since 1983, when we adopted our original herd—including the legendary "Duke of Wellington"—we’ve grown and managed these amazing animals. Split into upper and lower herds, we currently have between 20 and 51 bison in each herd thriving on our range land! Our bison have even earned awards at the National Western Stock Show, including the prestigious Tony Heim Memorial Award in 1997. Fun fact: Bison can sprint at 35 mph and jump over 6 feet! Celebrate these incredible creatures with us! #NationalBisonDay #Bison #RawhideEnergy
