ICYMI: This summer, NY Green Bank closed an upsized revolving credit facility with NineDot Energy, the leading developer of community-scale battery storage projects in New York City. NY Green Bank doubled its commitment to NineDot to a total of $50 million. This financing will help fund NineDot’s rapidly growing pipeline of battery storage projects. NY Green Bank is excited to announce a new transaction through the Community Decarbonization Fund (CDF): a $5 million revolving term loan with Community Development Long Island (CDLI). This transaction will fund CDLI’s multi-family real estate development loans supporting energy-efficient affordable housing. NYGB’s CDF loan will enable CDLI to offer flexible, low-cost, and long-term financing for investments aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in New York State, utilizing new sources of capital currently unavailable for efficiency-first investments.
