🎉We just raised our $43M Series B, led by Kleiner Perkins. 🎉 It’s a big day for Nooks. And an even bigger day for sales teams everywhere. Here’s why: We’re using that investment to double-down on our mission to humanize sales pipeline generation. And to announce our AI Sales Assistant Platform (ASAP). The world’s fastest-growing companies already use our AI Dialing Assistant to generate over 70% of their pipeline. Now, we’re adding two new assistants to the platform: ✅ The AI Coaching Assistant with automated scorecards and AI roleplay to cut onboarding time by 50% and more ✅ The AI Prospecting Assistant with account research, list building, and email writing to quickly identify and engage your best prospects These assistants integrate and reinforce each other. Helping your teams generate 2-3x more pipeline fast.  —- At Nooks, we believe the future is human reps working with AI assistants. Not being replaced by AI. Rohan Suri and Melanie Smith blew everyone away at Sam Nelson's Pipeline Conference yesterday with these insights! 🤯 👇 This week, we've connected with hundreds of Sales Development Leaders in Austin and took the main stage on to share "Dialing 3.0: How to benchmark and Succeed at Outbound calling in 2025." Here's what Rohan and Melanie shared: ☎️ Nooks AI Analysis on 5M Calls • Reps have 𝟮.𝟯𝘅 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 conversions when mentioning a specific reason for reaching out 🚀 • Referencing social proof like customers and partners leads to a 𝟭.𝟴𝘅 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 chance of booking a meeting 🚀    • Mentioning "this is a cold call" in your opener makes... 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in booking a meeting ❌    • Asking an open ended question instead of a yes or no in the opener/pitch results in 𝟯.𝟭𝘅 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 of booking a meeting 🚀 (only 45.3% of reps are doing this in cold calls)    • Identifying pain or frustration the prospect has with their current system in the opener results in a 𝟲.𝟯𝘅 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 of booking a meeting 🚀 (this only happens in 23.1% of cold calls) • Immediately asking for the meeting when the prospect shows interest results in an 𝟭𝟭.𝟴𝘅 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 of booking a meeting (this is only done correctly in 38.5% of cold calls)   ☎️ Calling is making a come back • Cold email volume has increased 5x in the last year (Source: Woodpecker)    • Calling has increased from ~50% to 80% of meetings (Source: Nooks State of SDR Report)    • Call focused orgs average 40% more qualified opps per rep (Source: Bridge Group) And so much more: • How many reps actually follow-up when asked to by prospects? • What percentage of meetings come from a follow up call? • Do permission based openers work? • Melanie's Mock Call Interview Prep • Melanie's Cold Call Scorecard • Spiff Templates for call blocks Do you want to see more of the data-backed insights that they unveiled yesterday!? Please welcome our new team mate, Kendra Berner! 🙌 Kendra will be leading our Enterprise Sales team and helping larger teams learn how to 3-5x conversations and pipeline 🚀 Here's a little about her! 👇 • She was born in San Diego, now lives in... San Diego! 🏖️    • Teach yoga, pilates and sculpt at a local studio & love any group fitness classes! 💪    • Fun fact: She's afraid of heights, but recently tested her fear with a bungy swing in New Zealand! 😳 Her favorite part about joining Nooks and what excited her the most: "The product really is transformative for sales reps, and right now, there is so much opportunity for our Enterprise team to partner with reputable organizations on their revenue goals. Alongside this emerging market opportunity, Nooks team members internally share an incredible mix of camaraderie, real ownership, boundless curiosity, and infectious energy." And her best piece of Sales advice: "Hold onto your sparkle...be aware of your superpowers and lean into them." Welcome to the team! 💜

Wim Hof Breathing for Cold Callers? Yep, It Works. Charles Needham recently shared a game-changing tip for staying calm and collected on cold calls: Wim Hof breathing. Before diving into call sessions, he takes a few minutes to do intentional breathing exercises, and the results are impressive—more patience, sharper focus, and a sense of calm. Anyone who cold calls knows how fast the conversation can feel when you are trying to hear the prospect while planning your response. Breathing exercises are a way to slow down the moment, helping you to feel like you have more time to think and respond thoughtfully, rather than just reacting. If you’re in sales and finding that calls feel too fast, consider giving it a try. Sometimes, all you need is a few deep breaths to transform your approach. 🧘♂️ #coldcalltips #coldcalltraining #sdr

How do you keep a strong mindset despite hearing a lot of "no" during cold calls? For Carlos Salazar it's about reframing success in terms of making the calls you need to make, rather than just waiting to hear the next "yes." The reality is you might have to get through dozens of prospects before landing on one that's a good fit. That's why resilience isn’t just about the calls that land; it’s about every dial, every moment you refuse to quit! Every call truly counts whether you win the meeting or not 🔥
