National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) is pleased to announce a request for proposals (RFP) for projects related to liquid biopsy as a part of a collaborative grant led by the Brain Tumor Funders’ Collaborative (BTFC). The BTFC, which includes NBTS and nine other brain tumor nonprofits, aims to fund projects that will accelerate liquid biopsy technology for brain tumors and make it a viable option for patients of all ages. The Brain Tumor Investment Fund (BTIF) is pleased to share Trogenix Ltd’s announcement of its successful closing of a seed round of funding. BTIF participated in the round and is excited to add Trogenix to our investment portfolio. Trogenix is a University of Edinburgh, Scotland spinout led by Professor Steven Pollard, a world-renowned glioblastoma (GBM) and gene therapy expert, who developed a differentiated gene therapy (TGX-007) designed to deliver personalized immunotherapy for GBM patients. The Trogenix platform may also have broad applicability across oncology and regenerative medicine.
